Ohio State may be closing in on another 5-star recruit from Texas.
South Grand Prairie High School CB Jeffrey Okudah narrowed his list to three schools on Saturday night: Ohio State, Florida State and Oklahoma.
Okudah, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect ranked as the top cornerback and No. 7 overall recruit in the 2017 class, will make his decision Jan. 7 at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Okudah attended two Buckeyes games this year — once on his official visit to Oklahoma on Sept. 17 and the other during last weekend’s Ohio State-Michigan game in Columbus.
It’s only a matter of time before Okudah commits to Ohio State. Florida State and Oklahoma will keep working to try to change his mind. This one feels like it’s been done for a long time.
Earlier this week Ohio State received the commitment of another top recruit from Texas — 5-star LB Baron Browning from Kennedale.
