According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Griffith is ranked No. 11 in Florida for all prospects. He’s No. 8 nationally as a cornerback. He’s also ranked No. 51 in the country overall.
As reported by Land of 10’s Jeremy Birmingham, Griffith was a surprise visitor at Ohio State’s camp on Tuesday. Birmingham reports that Griffith is expected to make a decision midseason.
While at Ohio State’s camp, Griffith met with assistant coach Kerry Coombs.
“Coach Coombs asked to work me out last year, but I couldn’t make it since I transferred to IMG,” he said. “He told me I’m the type of player he wants in his room.”
