Raekwon McMillan was already considered one of the best linebackers in the 2017 draft class heading into the combine. He helped that claim Sunday.
The Ohio State linebacker ran a 4.61-second 40-yard dash, third-fastest among players in McMillan’s position group. But if you take out the 4.46 from Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers — who likely will play safety at the pro level — LSU’s Duke Riley (4.58) was the only linebacker faster than McMillan.
Kwon. can. run. Solid 4.61u 40-time for @Kwon_daTRUTH.

McMillan also put up 23 reps on the bench press, tying him for fifth-most in his position group.
The leader of Ohio State’s 2016 defense, McMillan was projected as a second-round pick by CBS heading into the combine. But he may be getting close to the first round after the numbers he posted in Indy.
