Northwestern has landed one of the top small forwards in the 2018 recruiting class. Pete Nance, a 4-star forward from Richfield, Ohio, committed to the Wildcats on Thursday afternoon.
Nance is one of the top 100 recruits for 2018.
“Excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Northwestern University,” Nance wrote on Twitter.

Nance picked Northwestern over offers from Michigan and Ohio State. The 6-foot-8, 180-pound forward is considered the second-best 2018 recruit in Ohio and the No. 64 overall player in the class in the 247Sports composite rankings.
Nance announced his commitment just a few hours after Michigan landed 4-star power forward Brandon Johns. The new Wildcats commit is the second major commitment this week. Four-star Jordan Lathon announced his decision on Sunday.
