The Wildcats went 6-6 this season (5-4 in the Big Ten) after starting out 0-2. Northwestern ended its season with 2 wins in 3 games to become bowl-eligible.
Meanwhile, Pitt enters the game at 8-4. The Panthers have two very impressive wins this season, topping Clemson and Penn State, currently ranked No. 2 and No. 5 respectively in the College Football Playoff rankings.
