Northwestern will have somewhat of a retro look when the team plays Iowa on Saturday (noon ET, ESPN2). The school revealed Friday that the Wildcats will wear helmets to honor the 1962 team.

Northwestern went 7-2 in 1962 and rose to No. 1 in the AP poll during the season. Under Ara Parseghian, Northwestern got off to a 6-0 start 55 years ago that included beating then-No. 6 Ohio State 18-14 on the road.
Pat Fitzgerald will hope some of that mojo rubs off on his team Saturday. Northwestern enters the game against Iowa looking for its second consecutive win, which would push the Wildcats to 4-3 this season.
