Trailing 10-7 late in the second quarter, it looked like Northwestern was going to try to tie Nebraska with a 40-yard field goal.
Instead, the Wildcats opted for a bizarre fake field goal that the Cornhuskers sniffed out. If style points counted for yards, Northwestern might have actually accomplished something on this play.
Nebraska took a 10-7 lead into halftime.
