Anxiety has likely reached a peak in Chicago as the Cubs continue their World Series championship pursuit against the San Francisco Giants in Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Friday night.
Northwestern men’s basketball coach Chris Collins clearly hopes the club will fly its victory flag continuously at Wrigley Field throughout October. In anticipation of the club’s first playoff game, Collins, who enters his fourth season as the Wildcats coach, flew the Cubs Win Flag at Northwestern’s Ryan Field.

The Cubs won 103 games this year and enter the postseason heavy favorites to win the World Series. But don’t tell Collins and other Cubs fans that. The organization has not won a championship since 1908.
