Julia Louis-Dreyfus is winning award after award for her work on HBO’s “Veep” in the role of Selina Meyer.
But for many, she’ll always be Elaine from “Seinfeld.”
So Louis-Dreyfus, whose son Charlie Hall is a member of Northwestern’s basketball team, celebrated the Wildcats’ first NCAA Tournament berth in the best possible way. She shared a gif of Elaine’s horrible dancing to celebrate Northwestern’s trip to the big dance.

Not only did the Wildcats make the tournament, they got in safely as a No. 8 seed. They’ll face No. 9 Vanderbilt in the first round, with a likely second-round matchup against No. 1 Gonzaga should Northwestern win.
The Wildcats are 23-11 going into the NCAA Tournament and reached the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.
Louis-Dreyfus is a common spectator at Northwestern games, so expect to see her again when the Wildcats face Vanderbilt on Thursday in Salt Lake City.
If the Wildcats win and Louis-Dreyfus decides to dance in celebration, hopefully she’s a better dancer than her character Elaine.
