Northwestern running back Justin Jackson most likely isn’t going to go in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft later this month.
But one ESPN personality thinks whatever team gets him will nonetheless get a solid talent.
NFL insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday picked Jackson as his sleeper pick of the draft. Jackson is projected by most to be a third-day pick (Rounds 4-7).
“You see the types of moves he can make,” Schefter said. “You see the way he moves around the edges. You see the way he catches the football. Someone like this, to me, is a great value later in the draft. Again, he’s not going to be a first or a second-day draft pick but the moves that he made last year, the speed, the elusiveness, Justin Jackson is one of my running back sleepers.”
