Add another commitment to Northwestern’s growing Class of 2018.
Grayson Mann, an inside linebacker from Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints Episcopal High with a 3-star rating by 247Sports, tweeted his commitment to Northwestern on Friday evening. His commitment marks the 11th commit in the Wildcats’ Class of 2018.
Mann is also the second football recruit to commit this week for Northwestern, as 3-star DB Greg Newsome announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Monday.

Mann is the No. 101 prospect in Texas for 2018, and the No. 29 inside linebacker, per 247Sports. He’s also the first linebacker commit in Northwestern’s Class of 2018.
Mann also had offers from Big Ten schools Nebraska and Indiana, as well non-Big Ten schools including UCLA, Oklahoma, Stanford and TCU. According to 247Sports, Mann had nine offers.
According to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, 83 percent of the predictions were in Northwestern’s favor, to 17 percent for runner-up Stanford.
Mann’s commitment also bumped Northwestern’s class’ national ranking to sixth, thanks in large part to the number of commitments the Wildcats have landed.
