Brandon Reilly knew what to do when he scored.
When the senior receiver hauled in his first TD of the season Friday at the Music City Bowl, Reilly not only gave the Huskers their first points of the game, he also honored the late Sam Foltz. After scoring, Reilly pretended to punt the ball and then pointed to the sky.

Reilly’s 38-yard score drew Nebraska within 14-7 of Tennessee late in the second quarter. After setting career highs in receptions (40), yards (754) and touchdowns (4) last season, Reilly’s numbers slipped in 2016 to 17 catches for 314 yards and no scores entering Friday.
Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler died in a car accident this July.
