Nebraska has an easy choice for most of its coin tosses this season.
In a handful of Huskers games this season, they have been using a commemorative coin that honors late punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler – who both died in a summer car crash.
At the start of overtime Saturday night at Wisconsin, Nebraska captain Nate Gerry called “Foltzy.” And though they lost in overtime, the Huskers won the toss.
After winning the toss, Gerry pointed at the sky and thanked his teammate for the help. Watch that moment below:
