There’s no need to worry about a flag anymore, Nebraska fans. The Olympics are done.
That means the hashtag #GBR will no longer be joined by the flag of Great Britain. Instead, it can be safely used to mean “Go Big Red” again.
Nebraska’s Twitter account was very happy about the development.
In the course of human events, it sometimes becomes necessary to dissolve the hashflag which connects two nations.

At the Olympics, Great Britain won the second-most gold medals (27) and came in third in overall medals with 67. But #GBR is now all about the Big Red.
Tweet to your heart’s content, Nebraska fans. But it doesn’t look like #GBR will get corn automatically assigned to the end of the hashtag. Maybe down the road?
WE DECLARE THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF EVIDENT!
