Robert Porcher gets two more Rivals stars
After being labeled a 2-star defensive end for months, Nebraska commit Robert Porcher was bumped up to a 4-star rating by Rivals.com.
Porcher, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end, has been committed to Nebraska since June. He is a 3-star defensive end on 247sports.
In post on the Rivals Nebraska thread, Mike Farrell, Rivals.com national recruiting director, said “we undervalued the kid based on not seeing enough of him early and now with a better sample size we have corrected said situation.”
Nebraska is now No. 24 in Rivals 2017 class rankings.
Chevin Calloway decommits

He’s the No. 12 corner in the 2017 class and No. 18 recruit from Texas.
The Bishop Dunne High School corner is a teammate of one of Nebraska’s top targets, 3-star DT Damion Daniels.

Nebraska extended an offer to Kamren Curl, a 3-star receiver and safety.
Curl is 6-foot-2, 180 pounds and the No. 49 athlete in the 2017 class. He’s also the No. 10 recruit from Oklahoma. Curl has 19 offers, among them Texas Tech, TCU, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas, Wyoming, Ohio and now Nebraska.
Curl decommitted from Texas Tech on Oct. 26, saying he thought there was “a better place out there” for him. He was committed to Texas Tech for four months.
