Morris, a sophomore at Graham Kapowsin High School, is teammates with the 2017 No. 1 overall recruit OT Foster Sarell, who visited Nebraska on Sept. 3.
“Nebraska called my coach and they wanted me to give them a call,” Morris told Rivals.com. “I called them and was speaking with coach Ryan Gunderson and coach Danny Langsdorf. They didn’t talk much about their offense, but I’ve watched games and I love the fit.”
Morris received three offers in one day from Nebraska, Washington and Washington State.
He doesn’t have a star rating yet.
Below are some highlights:
Nebraska visit not yet figured out for 5-star Joseph Lewis
Joseph Lewis will visit Oregon on Oct. 8, Alabama on Nov. 26 and Oklahoma on Nov. 12. As for Nebraska, nothing is set, though Lewis told 247sports it is still in the works. He was originally supposed to visit the weekend of Oct. 1.
Lewis visited Lincoln during fall camp.
He told 247sports what he liked about Nebraska.
“The coaching staff, number one. Then, the players because my 7-on-7 quarterback from a couple years ago goes there, Patrick O’Brien,” Lewis said. “We talk and the receivers, Stanley Morgan and stuff, we talk as well. Keyan (Williams), coach Dub (Keith Williams) and coach Riley, we all talk and we all have a good relationships and stuff.”
Lewis is the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2017 class and one of Nebraska’s top targets. Getting him to Lincoln for an official visit will be pivotal, especially since Nebraska will have to compete with the Alabama vs. Auburn atmosphere.

Isaiah Hodgins, a 3-star wide receiver from Walnut Creek, Calif., will be in Lincoln for the Oct. 1 matchup against Illinois.
