The recruiting machine churns all week. Join us Tuesday through Friday nights when we recap Nebraska recruiting news, offering analysis and context.
Well, we know the Nebraska coaches were busy over the bye week in Califorina. Now we know a little more about which recruiting prospects they saw.
Jamire Calvin, a 4-star wide receiver from Los Angeles, told 247sports he was visited by head coach Mike Riley and wide receivers coach Keith Williams two weeks ago.
“It means a lot,” he told 247sports. “Especially to have a head coach like coach Riley come out. They came down to the school and spent almost two hours here.”
Calvin said Riley ended up leaving after the two hours to see Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and Tristan Gebbia at Calabasas High School. Riley would have also watched 5-star CB/WR Darnay Holmes and 2018 4-star CB Bookie Radley-Hiles.
Williams, meanwhile, stayed to watch Calvin’s game at Cathedral High School.
Calvin currently has 25 offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Oregon State, California and USC. He visited Nebraska earlier this year and has also visited Oregon State. He told 247sports he doesn’t know what his other two visits will be.
247sports currently gives Calvin a 75 percent chance of signing with Nebraska.
Tre Bryant’s buddies coming to Lincoln
Freshman running back Tre Bryant kind of let the cat out of the bag Wednesday.
Bryant tweeted that a few of his friends from St. Louis will visit Lincoln this weekend.

Behind those Twitter handles are 2018 4-star WR Kamryn Babb, 3-star WR Cameron Brown and cornerback Tyler Walton, all of whom go to Bryant’s alma mater, Christian Brothers College.
Babb is the No. 2 recruit from Missouri and has 15 offers, among them Nebraska, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State and Wisconsin. He’s unofficially visited Michigan State and Notre Dame already.
Brown is the No. 8 recruit in the 2018 class from Missouri. He has six offers, but not one from Nebraska.
Here is Babb’s Hudl tape.
Another wide receiver offer
Joshua Moore, a 4-star receiver from Yoakum, Texas, got an offer from Nebraska around midnight on Friday night, he told Rivals.com.
“Coach Keith Williams reached out to me on Twitter and so I gave him a call,” Moore told Rivals. “I talked with coach Williams and we had a great conversation. We talked a lot about football along with life as well.”
Moore is a 6-foot, 168-pound receiver in the 2018 class. He’s the No. 11 receiver in the 2018 class and No. 8 recruit from Texas.
He’s picked up 38 offers so far from blue bloods across the country, including Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida State, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Tennessee, Houston and UCLA.
He only had one unofficial visit, which was Texas A&M on Oct. 8
