The NFL is letting players promote causes they support this week with the #MyCauseMyCleats campaign.
One professional player is using it as an opportunity to remember two punters. Thomas Morstead, a punter for the New Orleans Saints, will be kicking in cleats that pay tribute to Nebraska’s Sam Foltz and Michigan State’s Mike Sadler, who died in a car crash this summer.
Morstead’s will have “In memory of Mike Sadler’ on the left cleat and “In memory of Sam Foltz” on the right shoe for the Saints’ 1 p.m. (ET) game with Detroit on Sunday. He tweeted out a picture Friday afternoon:

Morstead played college football at SMU. He’s been in the NFL since the 2009 season and won a Super Bowl with the Saints as a rookie.
