The man convicted of robbing the home of the brother of Sam Foltz while he attended a Nebraska game where his late brother was being honored was sentenced to 3-5 years in prison Monday.
According to multiple reports, Scott Davis of Lennox, S.D., pleaded guilty to burglary and theft and was sentenced by Greeley County District Court Karin Noakes to the prison time and ordered to pay restitution. He originally was arrested in September after stealing from the home of Jordan Foltz on Sept. 3 as the Huskers hosted Fresno State.

Jordan Foltz said he had multiple items stolen from his home and Jeep — reportedly worth an estimated $1,400 — in Greeley, Neb., while attending the Huskers’ home opener where the program paid tribute to Sam.
Sam Foltz, a Nebraska punter, died last July in a car accident that also claimed the life of former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler. Foltz would have been a senior at Nebraska during the 2016 season.
