While Nebraska honored the late Sam Foltz with tributes throughout the game on Saturday, his brother was robbed.
According to KLKN-TV, someone broke into the home and vehicle of Jordan Foltz while he and his family were at the game. The station said the Greeley County Sheriff confirmed the break in, saying TV and tools were stolen. The estimated loss is at least $1,400, the station reported.
Jordan’s brother Sam was Nebraska’s punter. Sam Foltz died in a July car accident and was honored during an emotional season-opening game against Fresno State.
Jordan Foltz posted the incident on his Facebook. Foltz said the thieves probably saw him as an easy target because he was out of town.
