Bush, a three-star dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2014, redshirted his freshman year and never saw the field in his career in Lincoln. Recruited by Bo Pelini’s staff, Bush has a wealth of athleticism but was never able to find his way up the depth chart.
Before signing with Nebraska, Bush also held offers from the likes of Kansas State, Cincinnati, and Marshall. Samuel McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald reported on some potential landing spots for Bush, though specifics are scarce.
Talked to Alvin Bush, AJ Bush’s dad. They told Riley of AJ’s decision Thursday. Looking at JUCO and FBS options. #huskers
