Nebraska lost by more than 15 points for the fourth straight game on Sunday night, this time in its home finale against Michigan, 93-57.
The Wolverines shot 63 percent from the floor and hit 14 3-pointers. The loss was Nebraska’s largest margin of defeat all season, and its largest margin of defeat in Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The Huskers finished the regular season at 12-18, the worst regular-season record under coach Tim Miles in five seasons. Nebraska lost its final four games and dropped 11 of its last 16 games.
Who showed up
Freshman Isaiah Roby played well. He had 10 points in 23 minutes.
Yet again, Nebraska could not defend the 3-point line. The Wolverines made eight 3-pointers in their last game against Northwestern. They made that many in the first 15 minutes against Nebraska.
Nebraska shot just 2-for-15 from behind the arc, and turned the ball over 16 times.
On Senior Night, guard Tai Webster failed to score in double digits. He finished with 8 points. He had scored in double digits in 30 straight games.
