QB Tommy Armstrong becomes career yards leader at Nebraska
Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong has gained the most career yards in school history.
Armstrong secured the title of Nebraska’s career yards leader after completing a 32-yard pass to Cornhuskers wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp during the first quarter of the team’s game against No. 6 Ohio State on Saturday.

Taylor Martinez, who preceded Armstrong as the quarterback of the Cornhuskers, was the previous owner of the record. Martinez gained 10,233 yards during his career.
Armstrong entered Saturday with 10,197 career yards. He also owns the program record for passing yards, passes completed and touchdown passes.
