Foltz, Nebraska’s punter, died in a car accident in July.
The tributes have been frequent and powerful since. The Huskers lined up with 10 players on the field during their first punt of the season and got a delay of game penalty that Fresno State declined.
Former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler also died in the accident. The two, along with LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye, were driving back from a specialists camp in Wisconsin.
