About an hour after he went to the hospital after what looked like a serious head injury, Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong returned to Ohio Stadium and to the Nebraska sidelines.

Armstrong suffered a head injury in the second quarter, after he tripped up going out of bounds and hit his head on the turf. He won’t will not return to the game, but Armstrong returned to the sidelines and met with head coach Mike Riley and shared a touching moment with his coach.

Armstrong was replaced by Senior Ryker Fyfe at quarterback. This comes after he set the Nebraska record for total yards as player.
