Nebraska running back Tre Bryant dinged up his knee against Oregon in Week 2, but the injury was reported as being nothing new.
On Thursday, however, head coach Mike Riley talked to the media after practice and said the sophomore ball-carrier is likely to miss Saturday’s contest against Northern Illinois.

As Land of 10’s Erin Sorensen reported on Monday, Bryant was expected to have a decision by Wednesday. After not practicing all week, junior running back Mikale Wilbon will get the start.
Wilbon has recorded five carries for 23 yards and two touchdowns so far this season, while Bryant has carried it 51 times for 299 yards and taking two of those for scores.
The Cornhuskers are set to face the Huskies at noon ET on Saturday and the game will be televised on FS1.
