Unfortunately, Nebraska kicker Drew Brown knows what Army football is going through.
Brandon Jackson, a starting defensive back for Army, died in a single car accident on Sunday in Croton, N.Y., the United States Military Academy announced on Monday.
“Words cannot describe the grief that our team is feeling over the loss of our brother and friend, Brandon,” Army coach Jeff Monken said. “He was a beloved teammate and our hearts are with his family at this time of tragedy.”
Jackson, from Queens, N.Y., was a sophomore. He had six total tackles this season.
Nebraska kicker Drew Brown he offered this thoughts and prayers on Twitter in support of the team. Brown lost friend and teammate Sam Foltz when Foltz died in a car accident in July.
