Nebraska’s senior tight end Cethan Carter, who scored a touchdown last week against Northwestern, has left the game against Illinois with what appears to be a shoulder injury.
Carter was injured after he caught his first pass and was dragged down awkwardly by an Illini defender.

Carter walked off the field under his own power, but was escorted to the locker room.
Along with catching a touchdown last weekend, he set a career-high for receptions with five against Oregon two weeks ago. The New Orleans, La., is also a big part of the Huskers’ run game as a lead blocker.
