Grim enrolled early at Nebraska but announced earlier this week that he would leave Lincoln. He was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2016.
Grim told his hometown paper that he didn’t think he fit into the Huskers offense, and said he didn’t believe coach Mike Riley would deliver on his promise to get him playing time.
Grim said he’s been unhappy since he got to Nebraska in January, but that the coaching staff blocked his transfer request and tried to persuade him to stay.
