Just two days after being knocked unconscious and leaving the field on a stretcher, Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong was still listed as the starter on the team’s depth chart.
In a scary moment at Ohio Stadium, Armstrong was hit hard and had to have his equipment cut off as he got carted off the field during the Huskers’ loss to Ohio State. According to a statement from Nebraska, he had use of his extremities as he left the field.
Nebraska is back in action this Saturday night, hosting Minnesota. And the depth chart suggests that Armstrong could be back under center.

Senior Ryker Fyfe took over for Armstrong after the injury, throwing for 52 yards on 5-of-18 passing. Armstrong, also a senior, leads the Huskers in career starts with 42.
