LINCOLN, Neb. — One of Nebraska’s most successful recruiting tools in 2016 was the Friday Night Lights camp it hosted last summer in Memorial Stadium.
Nebraska will continue the camp program this June.
Two dates appear to have been set for the camps on Friday, June 16, and Friday, June 23. Those camps are open to the public. Last summer, thousands of fans came to watch.
There will also be a Big Man camp and a Skills Challenge on June 13.
Last year, recruits from across the country flocked to Lincoln for the Friday Night Lights camp, including 5-star wide receiver Joseph Lewis, 4-star 2018 corner Brendan Radley-Hiles, 4-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey, and commits such as 4-star wide receiver Jaevon McQuitty, 4-star quarterback Tristan Gebbia and 3-star wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr.
This summer, Nebraska will likely try to get Radley-Hiles, who is now at IMG Academy, to come back for a camp. Nebraska will also likely go after some of its top quarterback targets, such as 4-star quarterback Tanner McKee and 4-star quarterback Colson Yankoff, to attend.
