Before Tennessee and Nebraska kicked off in the Music City Bowl, the Volunteers had a special gift to share.
Tennessee gave Nebraska a special Sam Foltz jersey ahead of Friday’s game. The orange jersey featured Foltz’s No. 27 and signatures from the Volunteers team. Tennessee wanted to help honor the late Nebraska punter.

On Thursday, Tennessee shared a photo of the helmet decal it would wear for the game. The red decal featured Foltz’s initials and number.

Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler died in a July car accident. Since then, Nebraska and its opponents this season have celebrated the memory of the players.
Before Nebraska’s first punt of the season, the Huskers walked out onto the field without a punter as a way to honor Foltz. Fresno State declined the penalty out of respect.
We'll always remember #SF27.
Well done, @HuskerFBNation & HUskers fans.
