Nebraska football continues to honor the late Sam Foltz.
The punter, who died in a July car accident along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, will be remembered by the team wearing a helmet decal, painting his initials on the team’s practice field and by naming a scholarship award after him.
Now there’s a tribute area to help serve as a memorial outside the stadium.

Foltz was the Big Ten’s punter of the year in 2015, averaging 44.2 yards per punt. He was only 22 years old.
