The recruiting machine churns all week. Join us Sunday through Thursday nights when we recap Nebraska recruiting news, offering analysis and context.
It’s been a busy past 24 hours for Nebraska coaches.
Since the posting of Wednesday’s recruiting notebook, Nebraska has offered eight recruits, including three offensive tackles.
The most recent offer was to 4-star outside linebacker Salua Masina.

Masina, from Salt Lake City, Utah, is the No. 12 outside linebacker in the 2018 class. The Brighton High School defender has 12 total offers, including from BYU, USC, UCLA and Utah.
Also offered Thursday was 3-star running back Christian Turner.

Nebraska also recently offered 3-star offensive tackle Trey Stratford from Allen, Texas.

Stratford is the No. 40 recruit in the 2018 class and No. 71 recruit from Texas.
He holds 19 total offers, including from Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma and, recently, Utah, Purdue and Kansas.
Stratford attended Oklahoma’s junior day on Feb. 19
Nebraska also offered running back Mychale Salahuddin on Thursday.

Salahuddin now has 19 offers, including from Arkansas, Maryland and Oklahoma. From the Washington, D.C., area, Salahuddin is leaning toward Maryland and Arkansas, it seems.
“(The offers) were something that I kind of was expecting, but I didn’t think it would come this quick,” Salahuddin recently told SEC Country recruiting reporter Trent Shadid. “I’ll probably take a trip down to V-Tech, then Penn State on (Feb.) 25th. I’m planning to take a bus tour to all the South schools in the spring.”
He’ll be tough to get to Nebraska, but a visit to the spring game could be a big step for Salahuddin and Nebraska.
Nebraska also offered 4-star safety DeMarvion Overshown (Arp, Texas).
— DeMarvion Overshown (@dee_overshown6) February 23, 2017
Overshown is the No. 14 safety in the 2018 class and No. 18 player in the state of Texas. He has 22 offers, most recently from Georgia, Colorado, South Carolina and Ohio State. Alabama has also offered Overshown.
Nebraska will be competing with the top of the top for the safety.
Another offensive tackle, Will Putnam, got an offer from Nebraska on Wednesday night.

Putnam, from Glenwood High School in Chatham, Ill., doesn’t have a 247sports composite score, but is a 4-star tackle in the 2019 class on 247sports. He has 10 offers, including from Iowa, LSU, Michigan State and Penn State.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pound tackle has an unofficial visit set at Iowa on March 5.
Quavaris Crouch (not related to Eric Crouch of Huskers fame) got an offer from Nebraska on Wednesday night as well.
— Quavaris Crouch (@CrouchQuavaris) February 23, 2017
Crouch is also in the 2019 class. He’s a running back with no current star rating on 247sports, but he does have offers from Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
Crouch, from Charlotte, N.C., visited Virginia Tech last year.
And finally, Nebraska offered 2019 offensive tackle Darnell Wright.

Wright is 6-foot-6, 275 pounds and does not have a star rating. The Huntington, W.V., recruit holds offers from Florida, Louisville, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee and West Virginia.
