The Nebraska recruiting machine churns all week. Join us Monday through Friday nights when we recap recruiting news and offer analysis and context.
Joshua Moore set to visit
As Joshua Moore’s commitment date nears, it’s looking increasingly like the 247Sports 4-star wide receiver is between Nebraska and Florida State.
Moore announced via Twitter on Monday night that he has visits set up in Lincoln and Tallahassee.

Moore is said to be down to Nebraska, Florida State and also Texas A&M. His 247Sports crystal ball still leans Nebraska. He’ll announce a commitment on June 18.
LSU may not have a visit, or be in his final three, but it does have Texas Tech wide receiver transfer Jonathan Giles in Moore’s ear.
“I’m not gonna lie … ever since the day I committed to LSU, I’ve been trying to recruit Joshua. And not just him, but Jordan [Moore], too,” Giles told LSU recruiting reporter Sam Spiegelman at our sister site SEC Country. “I’m trying to get a package deal! All three of us have been talking about how we want to all play together and how fun that will be!”
Giles is a cousin of the Moore brothers.
Tanner McKee making travel plans
Nebraska target and 4-star 2018 quarterback Tanner McKee has told Rivals.com that he will make official visits to Texas, BYU and Washington, with his other two visits still open.
Also worth noting is that McKee doesn’t plan on committing until January. That’s good news for the Huskers, who have spent the last few weeks focusing on a 2019 quarterback rather than a 2018 quarterback.
If Nebraska could score one of those remaining visits, the Huskers could become a late contender for the 6-foot-6, 220-pound McKee.
Offering WR as a DB the new recruiting fad?
A new trend in Lincoln appears to be Nebraska coaches offering recruits as both receiver and defensive back.
After telling 2019 wide receiver Marquez Beason (a former Nebraska commit) last weekend that he could play defensive back at Nebraska, the Huskers apparently told 4-star 2019 receiver Jordan Whittington the same on Tuesday.

Nebraska still in the mix for Bryan Addison
The Huskers made 2018 4-star athlete Bryan Addison‘s top 7, a list he tweeted out Monday night.

Addison is rated the No. 9 athlete in the 2018 class and the No. 28 recruit in California. He has 13 offers and is being recruited to Nebraska by cornerbacks coach Donte Williams.
