Tommy Armstrong has had some ups and downs with Nebraska, but he’s played a lot of games and thrown for a lot of yards.
The Nebraska senior QB broke Taylor Martinez’s school record for career passing yards on Saturday against Oregon. The old mark was 7,258 — Armstrong surpassed that and is still going.

Armstrong took over for Martinez as a freshman in 2013, going 7-1 as a starter. He’s started 28 games in the last three seasons, and will probably set a few more Huskers records this year — TD passes, total offense and completions among them.
