About that loss…

After the 21-17 loss Saturday to Northern Illinois, Nebraska coach Mike Riley believes “whatever is said is probably earned.” He also believes the Huskers have everything they need to win, and they will strive to make that a reality.

Fixing the O-line’s issues

“We were bad.”

That’s what offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh had to say about his group’s performance on Saturday. They’re looking to improve before Rutgers rolls into town.

An injury update

Riley updated the Huskers current injury list on Monday, and the right tackle spot could be a bit of a question mark. While David Knevel continues to be questionable for play, his backup Matt Farniok has reportedly broken a bone in his right wrist and had a pin placed in it.

Linebacker Mikale Wilbon (hamstring) is out for an unknown amount of time.

Running back Tre Bryant and safety Joshua Kalu are also questionable for Saturday.

And a depth chart update

There were no noticeable changes to Nebraska’s depth chart ahead of Rutgers. However, Keyan Williams (hamstring) was moved to the injured list.

Iowa State over Nebraska

That’s the choice Nebraska basketball target Tyrese Haliburton made on Monday. The 6-foot-2 guard made the announcement on Twitter.
