“It was everything,” Leitao told Scout.com on why he committed. “The coaching staff welcomed me as a family. Academics provides me with a lot of help for a difficult engineering degree. And the fan base is out of this world. I had to.”
Leitao announced his top four schools earlier this month, including Oklahoma State, Penn State, and Maryland along with the Huskers. Reese’s father, Dave, is the head basketball coach at DePaul.
Nebraska tight ends coach Tavita Thompson seemed pretty pleased with the news.
