A battle ahead

Former Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee may be chasing his NFL dreams now, but he knows what’s ahead for the Huskers at the quarterback position. Between sophomore Patrick O’Brien, redshirt freshman Tristan Gebbia and freshman Adrian Martinez, Lee has little doubt that it will be “a good battle” for the top spot.

Building relationships

Nebraska coach Scott Frost reached out to Iowa Western Community College coach Scott Strohmeier not long after being hired. As he works to establish relationships for the Huskers at the junior college ranks, it makes sense.

Former Nebraska kicker Drew Brown will forever carry his friendship with punter Sam Foltz with him. That’s no different as he prepares for a career in the NFL.

On the bubble

It’s going to be a long week for Nebraska basketball fans, especially as bracketologists try to guess where the Huskers will land. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi currently has Penn State in over Nebraska, but only time will tell.

A Sunday win

After struggling Friday and Saturday against Wichita State, the Nebraska baseball team found a way to win on Sunday. The Huskers defeated the Shockers 10-9 in 10 innings.

Big Red Invitational title

The top-ranked Nebraska bowling team closed the regular season with a win over Arkansas State. The Huskers now await selection to the NCAA championship, set for April 12-14 in St. Louis.
