“When these tickets recently became available we wanted to make sure that all Husker fans had an equal chance to acquire them,” Nebraska Athletic Director Bill Moos said in a press release. “We want as many Nebraska fans as possible to be able to enjoy the spring game experience and see the debut of the 2018 Cornhuskers.”
Tickets for the April 21 spring game were sold out just more than 24 hours after going on sale. The excitement around the spring game reflects the buzz around the program, thanks in part to the hiring of coach Scott Frost, a former Huskers quarterback and five-year NFL veteran.
Fans interested in signing up for the ticket lottery must sign up online at Huskers.com/tickets between Monday, April 9, at 10 a.m. CT and Tuesday, April 10, at 5 p.m. CT. Requests will be limited to four tickets per order.
Nebraska’s spring game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network at noon ET on Saturday, April 21.
