Big thumbs up

Nebraska and its fans received nothing but compliments from the recruits and signees on hand Saturday. Even 4-star athlete Ty Robinson called his spring game visit “one for the books.”

Improving their game

DaiShon Neal has already seen improvement in his game under Frost’s watch, and he has no doubt his coach will get him to the next level. As for the rest of Nebraska’s game, there was a lot to like about the spring game performances but much room for improvement ahead.

Crushed it

There is no place like Nebraska, especially when it comes to the fans showing up. That was especially true at the spring game, where the Huskers crushed their spring game attendance record and became the 2018 attendance leader.

Best to wait

Think Nebraska is ready to name its starting quarterback? Think again, because the spring game only showed that there’s plenty of competition ahead. With that said, freshman Adrian Martinez made quite the statement on Saturday.

More on Frost

Frost doesn’t have a photographic memory, but his quick recall (and even quicker offense) might fool you. He’s also doing his best to renew hope and interest at Nebraska as he looks to make the Huskers a college football powerhouse again.
