A (spring) fresh start

Always a Husker
Garrett Snodgrass was born to be a Husker. That’s why when he committed to Nebraska, he didn’t commit to a coaching staff. He committed to the program that he grew up loving.
Sorting it out — on field and in locker room
Tight ends coach Sean Beckton doesn’t have a lot of experience in the tight ends room, but he’s not concerned. He sees players growing into leaders, and he’s working to sort out his depth chart this spring.
One of Nebraska’s top quarterbacks targets in the 2019 recruiting class is headed to the Southwest. Max Duggan, a 4-star recruit from Council Bluffs, Iowa, announced his commitment to TCU on Sunday.
Head of state
The last Nebraska high school football player to compete in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl was Josh Banderas in 2013. Omaha (Neb.) Burke’s Nick Henrich has changed that.
Men’s hoops making their move
Nebraska basketball is set to meet Robert Morris sophomore transfer Dachon Burke on Wednesday. ESPN’s Jeff Goodman shared the news on Twitter.
Let there be light
Nebraska will make plenty of updates to Memorial Stadium before the 2018 season begins, and one of those upgrades is LED lighting.
