Scott Frost to appear at College World Series; benefit of Nebraska’s Friday Night Lights camps
Nebraska football is the No. 1 topic in Big Red Rising every day — but we cover news, notes and analysis from across Huskers sports. Join us each morning to get caught up on everything you missed in the world of Huskers football, recruiting, basketball and more.
Making an appearance
Nebraska coach Scott Frost is headed to the College World Series. Frost is set to make a 30-minute appearance at the fan fast near TD Ameritrade Park at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
A big benefit
Fan of Nebraska’s Friday Night Lights camps? You’re not alone, especially when the opportunities they provide are considered. Land of 10’s Chris Bumbaca looked at those opportunities.
Frost’s UCF team was able to stay healthy in 2017 despite having no bye week. Can Nebraska do the same? If strength coach Zach Duval has anything to do with it, the Huskers will be healthy all fall.
Nick Henrich is a coveted 2019 linebacker, and Nebraska appears to be in decent shape for him. As Henrich narrows his list of schools, he also had a “fantastic” unofficial visit to Nebraska.
Rise and grind
