In addition to displaying a team under a new coaching staff for the first time, the spring game served as an opportunity for the Nebraska football program to continue its recruiting efforts. And on Saturday, there were dozens of recruits in Lincoln. Here are some of their thoughts about the game.

He was there with Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, Okla.) teammates JJ Hester and Demarco Jones. The Huskers offered Hester, a 2020 wide receiver.

“It was pretty exciting. I wasn’t with [York teammate and Nebraska commit Garrett Nelson] much but the atmosphere was amazing.”
Stafursky was also there with fellow York offensive lineman and potential Nebraska target Brady Danielson, who also enjoyed the day, according to Stafursky.
