Nebraska recruiting: Prospects react to another positive junior day
With another junior day on the slate for Saturday, Nebraska once again hosted an impressive crop of recruits.
Among the standouts on campus were 4-star tackle Danielson Ike, 3-star athlete Luke McCaffrey, 3-star running back Breece Hall, running back Thomas Grayson and 3-star defensive end MJ Anderson.
Recruits watched the Huskers practice before spending time with their position coaches and other members of the coaching staff. They also took tours of the campus and football facilities.
Here are some reactions from the prospects at junior day via Twitter.
McCaffrey and his father, former NFL wide receiver Ed, made the trip from Colorado. The younger brother of Christian McCaffrey, who plays in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers, is being recruited as a dual-threat quarterback.

Jameson Wang, a pro-style quarterback in the 2020 class, came in from California. The 6-foot recruit attends Harvard Westlake.

Arizona native and one of the top kicking prospects in the class, Austin McNamara, was there.

Grayson said the visit was “amazing” and that he wants to return to Lincoln soon.
“The facilities were amazing,” he said. “[Going onto] the field was probably the best part.”
The 3-star back picked up a Huskers offer a couple of weeks ago. Nebraska has positioned itself favorably with him.
