Departing Nebraska

Sophomore quarterback Patrick O’Brien has made the decision to depart the Nebraska football program. O’Brien confirmed the news on Thursday after being absent from practice.

As for what’s next at Nebraska, the Huskers will place the spotlight on quarterbacks Tristan Gebbia, Andrew Bunch and Adrian Martinez. Even Noah Vedral’s opportunity isn’t completely off the table, as the sophomore hopes to receive a waiver from the NCAA to play right away at Nebraska.
