Fans attending Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday night for Nebraska men’s basketball’s game against No. 13 Kansas will have a little extra incentive to stick around after the final buzzer.
The Huskers’ women’s volleyball team is playing Florida in the NCAA volleyball championship the same night, and the conclusion of the match will be streamed on the big screen after the basketball game. Nebraska executive associate athletic director Mark Boehm announced the decision on Twitter.
Done deal. We’ll be showing volleyball match on big screen right after game. #gbr

Fans looking to catch the start of the volleyball match will have to look elsewhere, though. The basketball game begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, while the national championship start at 9:00 p.m. ET. It will be broadcasted on ESPN2.
That Nebraska’s volleyball team is in the national championship is a shock to some. Stanford and Penn State, two of the more storied programs in the nation, were expected to advance to the finals, but instead Nebraska and Florida moved on.
Nebraska beat Penn State, 3-2, on Thursday, extending its winning streak to 19 matches. The Huskers have won four national championships, most recently in 2015.
