Nebraska has lost eight of its last nine games, dating back to Jan. 8.
Three of those losses have come by just one point, including a 70-69 overtime defeat to Wisconsin in the Huskers’ last game, on Feb. 9.

Nebraska basketball vs. Penn State keys to the game
Stay out of foul trouble
With how short Nebraska’s bench is, the Huskers can’t afford to have key players off the floor. Sophomore guard Glynn Watson has consistently been in foul trouble late in games. And with how well freshman Jordy Tshimanga is playing, he can’t afford to be on the bench late either.
The freshman has been playing his best ball the past few games, despite Nebraska’s midseason slump. If Nebraska works from the inside out, and gets Tshimanga going early, the offense could finally gain some steam.
Re-establish ‘The Vault’
Tim Miles talks often about Nebraska’s home-court advantage. Yet, Nebraska has lost three of four at Pinnacle Bank Arena. But Penn State is the worst team Nebraska will have played at home in 2017, so this is Nebraska’s best chance to get back on track.
