Nebraska’s 2017-18 season has had its ups and its downs, but as of Thursday night, the team is on a high.
At home, against No. 23-ranked Michigan, the Cornhuskers pulled off a 72-52 upset, pushing the team’s overall record to 14-7 and 5-3 in Big Ten play. Nebraska is currently sixth in the Big Ten standings.

Since the Cornhuskers took a 14-12 lead, the home team never looked back, controlling the game throughout. James Palmer Jr. led all scorers with 19.
The Cornhuskers shot over 54 percent from the field while the Wolverines shot 38 percent. The team also went 5-of-11 from three-point range, as Michigan went 4-of-18.

Nebraska will be in action again at 8 p.m. ET when the team faces Ohio State — who is unbeaten in Big Ten play — on Jan. 22 at Ohio State. The game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
