The name Mike Williams is a familiar one in football circles, and where this Mike Williams in particular recently attended college is familiar as well.
Williams, a 5-foot-10 wide receiver from Lake City, Fla., most recently attended East Mississippi Community College. He made his decision public on social media Wednesday night as to where he will be playing football next season.

EMCC, a junior college that many football fans know thanks to the hit Netflix series Last Chance U, won the 2017 championship. Williams will now be trying to win a title as a member of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Other schools outside of Nebraska that offered Williams a scholarship include Akron and Kent State, among others.
According to 247Sports, Williams visited the Cornhuskers on Jan. 7. Nebraska’s 2018 class now consists of 15 members with his commitment and he is the third wide receiver to make the pledge to Scott Frost’s team.
Nebraska owns the No. 38-ranked class in the country and is No. 9 in the Big Ten.
